  12.  This is an UNREGISTERED COPY. This means you can try it but after about a
  13. month of trying, you will need to register or don't continu using it. I
  14. think if you still use it after 30 days it's because you like it. So be
  15. fair, buy it !!!

  20.  You can copy this SHAREWARE COPY as mutch as you want but not modified.
  21. BBs, Internet or just friend by friend copying. If somebody sell this
  22. shareware game with out my permission. He is illegal and could have
  23. severe problems. That means, to be sure not having trouble, please contact
  24. me at any of the infos at the end of this document.

  31.   HAVING TROUBLES
  32.   ---------------
  33.         ■ When you load STOCKER.EXE it jams and any execution is stopped.
  34.             Then maybe something in your autoexec.bat or config.sys
  35.             configuration is not compatible with stockers.
  36.              Solution: Create a boot disk and do as here in your config.sys
  37.                        and autoexec.bat file.

  50.         ■ The mouse ain't usable. It does'nt respond.
  51.             Then maybe the games you loaded before stockers did'nt closed
  52.             the port or something like that.
  53.              Solution: Reboot the computer and retry stockers.
  54.                        If the problem persist, then send mail or a
  55.                        fax at the informations at the end of this
  56.                        documentation.

  59.         ■ The mouse travel in the screen but jams like if they were
  60.           some thing that blocks it.
  61.             Then maybe my method for loading and using mouse are'nt
  62.             very good and would not be compatible with some mouse
  63.             drivers.
  64.              Solution: Try an other mouse driver.
  65.                        I recommend the one I use: Dexxa 6.20

  67.                        If the problem persist, then unconnect
  68.                        the mouse to be sure your not always having
  69.                        that cursor.Be sure the next version
  70.                        should'nt have those problems.

  73.         ■ A "pcx missing file" error appears at a certan time in the
  74.           game loading.
  75.             Then this means that the \PCX\ directory
  76.             doesn't exist or some pcx files have been deleted.
  77.              Solution: - Shareware version: Take back your compressed
  78.                         file and unzip with; PKUNZIP.EXE -d STKV1_0.zip
  79.                        - Official copy: Take your original disk and
  80.                         reinstall stockers. It should work.

  83.         ■ Other problems. Than don't be shy and send a fax or others. Use
  84.           the informations above. I'll be glad to help you solving your
  85.           troubles loading stockers on your machine.
